What You Will Do

  • As an experienced C/C++ developer, you will develop, test and integrate flight deck application software and flight management software.
  • Provide high quality solutions to internal and external customers.
  • Be involved in scope planning, architecture and design, system and software requirements, implementation, integration and testing/verification, and certification.
  • Master the technical aspects of flight deck applications and actively contribute to development.
  • Build, deliver, and integrate software and configuration on test fixtures and rigs for various aircraft types and perform analyses such as footprint testing.
  • Support successful execution of projects throughout the development life cycle.
  • Use CI/CD tools to build and integrate software in a fast‑paced Agile development environment.
  • Coordinate and communicate with direct team members, technical project managers, systems engineers, and product managers.
  • Understand the certification aspects of the flight deck applications to successfully certify the product.
  • Follow processes, continuously learn and look for improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • At least three to five years of strong C software programming and application development experience.
  • Proficiency in C software design, implementation, debugging and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Test, integration and code debugging experience.

  • Learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
  • Enjoy working with people and be a great communicator, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Be a self‑starter and a quick learner, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Handle multiple projects at once.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be a team player.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with additional programming or scripting languages (e.g., C++, Perl, Java).
  • Experience with embedded development.
  • Experience with CI/CD and related tools.
  • Experience with Git, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Jama, Jira.
  • Experience with networking technologies (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wireshark).
  • Experience with model‑based development (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Experience in Avionics and Avionics Certification.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, project management.
