Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain systems to calculate and manage margin requirements, financing interest, and funding costs across asset classes.
• Design and build scalable systems for near real-time trade processing and portfolio optimization.
• Collaborate with a global team of software engineers, quantitative researchers, portfolio finance professionals, and trading teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Improve the performance and resilience of existing services and optimize data access patterns.
• Maintain an open, curious, and ownership-oriented approach to all aspects of treasury systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.
• Working experience with Python, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with relational database systems and SQL, such as Oracle Database or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of global portfolio financing/funding, trading workflows, or post-trade lifecycle processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
