A fast-growing digital health company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team in New York.

This is an opportunity to work on technology that directly impacts how people access and experience healthcare, building scalable products used by a growing patient population.

The Role

You’ll be a senior technical contributor within a product-focused engineering team, working closely with Product, Design and other engineering functions to build and evolve core healthcare technology.

You’ll have meaningful ownership across the full software development lifecycle - from technical design and architecture through to implementation, testing and deployment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build and ship scalable software across core digital health products
• Own significant technical projects from initial architecture through production
• Contribute to engineering standards, system design and technical decision-making
• Build reliable, maintainable and well-tested services and applications
• Work closely with Product and Design to translate complex requirements into simple user experiences
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and scalability
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
• Help shape the technical direction of a rapidly scaling healthcare platform

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building and shipping production software
• Experience with modern backend and/or full-stack development
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases and distributed systems
• Experience working in cloud-based environments
• Comfortable taking ownership of complex technical problems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in healthtech, fintech, SaaS or another highly regulated/complex technology environment is a plus
