Senior Software EngineerWe're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services and SaaS platform capabilities. This role is for an engineer with strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and software design who embraces an AI-native approach to software development.Roles & Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java-based services, APIs, and distributed applicationsLead technical implementation of medium-to-large engineering initiatives within a product areaParticipate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to technical decision-makingRemain hands-on through coding, troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, and production supportLeverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code to improve development efficiency and software qualityApply AI-assisted techniques for code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and codebase explorationHelp establish best practices for responsible use of AI-generated codeContribute to modernization of legacy systems through refactoring, automation, and AI-assisted development workflowsCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable solutionsSupport cloud-native architectures, microservices, integrations, and shared platform capabilitiesDrive improvements in performance, reliability, observability, security, and maintainabilityMentor Software Engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and collaborative developmentEvaluate new technologies and engineering practices that can improve product quality and team productivityDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, testing, security scanning, deployment, and release processesPartner with DevOps and platform teams to improve deployment reliability, release velocity, and developer experiencePromote engineering best within software delivery pipelinesRequired Qualifications:7+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, or enterprise platforms4+ years of experience developing backend services using JavaStrong coding skills with demonstrated experience designing, implementing, debugging, and supporting production softwareExperience leading significant technical projects or major features from design through productionExperience building and operating systems on AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with code reviews, software design, testing strategies, and engineering best practicesDemonstrated experience using AI-assisted coding tools as part of software engineering workflowsAbility to leverage AI effectively for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvementsStrong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and ability to validate and improve AI-generated codeStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in modern software development environmentsStrong understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, release automation, and deployment best practicesExperience with source control and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar technologiesPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding toolsExperience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka, or similar technologiesExperience with cloud-native,
