Senior Software EngineerCrown Point Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support development and enhancement of a mission metrics and monitoring platform, including a centralized health and status dashboard used across mission systems.In this role, you will work closely with system engineers and developers to build scalable monitoring capabilities, integrate multiple data sources, and deliver actionable insights through modern observability tooling.What You'll DoDevelop and enhance features for a metrics and monitoring platform supporting mission systemsBuild and maintain a centralized health and status dashboardIntegrate and correlate metrics, events, and reports from multiple data sourcesImplement alerting and monitoring capabilities using modern observability toolsContainerize mission applications using Docker and KubernetesSupport DevOps best practices and ensure policies are integrated throughout the application stackDevelop RESTful APIs and message schemas for system integrationOptimize applications to run in resource-constrained environmentsCreate shareable versions of applications for partner environmentsConduct performance assessments and ensure platforms meet operational requirementsRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field(Four additional years of SWE experience may substitute for degree)20+ years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexityExperience with ReactExperience with Go (GoLang)Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with OpenTelemetryFamiliarity with Git-based development workflowsPreferred SkillsExperience with GrafanaExperience with Linux environments and bash scriptingExperience building observability or monitoring platformsExperience integrating metrics, telemetry, and alerting systemsSalary: $225,000 - $250,000 per year
