Senior Software Engineer - Logistics

• Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and improve business processes and corresponding software applications for the assigned area
• Develop, implement, and maintain business software applications and interfaces within specified time frames
• Interpret business requirements and strategy to create technical solutions using independent judgment
• Provide ongoing information, support, mentoring, and training for internal customers, team members, and IT
• Test and debug complex application systems for accuracy, standards compliance, requirements fulfillment, and acceptable response times
• Document application systems and procedures, including test scripts, LDRP, maintenance, process, training, and customer documentation
• Ensure compliance with department standards and proper handoff to the testing team
• Technically lead moderate- to complex-level projects and provide direction to team members and internal customers
• Work with outside technology vendors as required
• Prioritize work according to management guidance and organizational needs while meeting timelines
• Provide guidance and mentor others in Wells Application technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or related experience
• 5-7 years of experience within a programming/development environment
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Unix, and Linux
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, C# and VB (.NET), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and XML
• Experience with Oracle APEX and Vue.js
• Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, Razor, and Blazor
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, including Order Management, Inventory, Bills of Material, and WMS
• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and Ignition
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Proactive problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, attention-to-detail, documentation, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, analyze complex assignments, and define and create solutions
• Ability to grasp abstract concepts
