Senior Software Engineer (Insurance) at BairesDev
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in the Insurance domain, you will spearhead the development and modernization of business-critical systems. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge to enhance the efficiency of core insurance processes while maintaining high standards of software quality and architectural integrity.
What You'll Do
- Design and evolve scalable backend services for policy administration and claims management.
- Lead legacy modernization initiatives to transition core insurance platforms to modern architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement complex business logic across life, P&C, and commercial auto sectors.
- Optimize the performance and reliability of underwriting systems to support high-volume transactions.
- Ensure technical excellence by defining best practices and providing architectural guidance for insurance-focused products.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on the insurance domain.
- Proven expertise in developing and modernizing policy administration, claims, and underwriting systems.
- Advanced proficiency in backend stacks and legacy system modernization.
- Deep understanding of various insurance sectors including life, P&C, and commercial auto.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
