Senior Software Engineer - Human Performance Data - Sports Tech - Remote-first

I am hiring for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack but backend leaning) for a Leading Sports Tech Company. ..

Elite athletes and coaches around the world run on their platform. Every training session, every match, every performance decision, the data behind it moves through systems your team will build.

They have built wearable and video telemetry hitting the platform in bursts, at real scale, under real pressure and a product team that ships hundreds of times a day

You’ve been the one in the room when a decision had to get made (not just implementing someone else's design, but owning the why X over Y).

Their engineers thrive on autonomy and really take ownership in what they do.

They are looking for:

• Genuine full-stack ownership: backend-leaning (C# is their core stack + Node.js), but equally comfortable shipping in React/TypeScript
• Real systems design experience: Event-driven architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ or equivalent, at a scale you can actually quantify
• A track record at product companies people would recognise and respect, not just brand-name logos
• End-to-end ownership, from architecture through to the consequences of that architecture in production
• You mentor and set standards because you want engineers around you to be better, not because it's in a job spec

Their Stack

• C#/.NET or Node production depth (they are open to candidates from different backend backgrounds - Go, Rust, Java, TypeScript, Python)
• React, TypeScript
• AWS
• A mix of relational and non-relational data stores (PostgreSQL prefered).
• Rust is a genuine plus.
• Strong engineers from Go, Java or elsewhere are absolutely still in scope if the systems design instinct is there.
