Senior Software Engineer

3 Must haves for the position:

Experience & Technical Skills

5+ years of professional software engineering experience with most recent experience being hands‑on with JavaScript / TypeScript, specifically React and Material UI , Node.js, Git

Experience building, deploying, and supporting applications on AWS (Amazon Web Services), using the Amazon technology framework (see details for more information)

Practical experience with testing and quality practices, including: automated testing frameworks such as Playwright , CI/testing and test management tools (Jenkins, Zephyr ), and Performance and reliability testing tools (JMeter)

The ideal candidate will also possess:

Comfort working in Linux CLI (Command lin Interface) environments

Working knowledge of data, BI, and analytics tools, including:

• Python and SQL
• Databricks, Power BI, and Grafana

Strong application design skills, with attention to scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Ability to responsibly leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis

Senior Software Engineer, Services Platform

Location: Greenville, SC

Schedule: Hybrid, three days onsite each week

Build and support business‑critical applications in a TypeScript‑first AWS environment

Develop frontend applications using TypeScript, React, and Material UI

Develop backend applications using Node.js and FeathersJS

Build, deploy, and support AWS-hosted applications

Work with AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, S3, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, and Control Tower

Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB Atlas

Troubleshoot frontend, backend, database, and production issues

Build APIs, technical documentation, automated test coverage, and operational procedures

Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, production incidents, and application stability

Create data pipelines and dashboards using SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, and Grafana

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Require 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience

Require recent experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, React, Material UI, Node.js, Git, and AWS

Require automated testing experience with Playwright, Jenkins, Zephyr, JMeter, or similar tools

Require professional spoken and written English fluency

Prefer FeathersJS, Linux command-line, Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Grafana, Docker, AWS CLI, and infrastructure‑as‑code experience
