Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or related field required
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience
- Proficiency with distributed/multi-tier systems and application development
- Excellent programming skills in Java and Python
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience developing and hosting solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Vertex AI
- Experience with Agile development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools
- Experience with automated release management using Maven, Salt, Git, and Jenkins
- Strong architecture design and modeling skills for complex systems and architectures
- Understanding of web technologies including HTTP and Apache
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Knowledge and experience of contact center ecosystem/Genesys Framework and Architecture preferred
- Experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems
- Familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered application development
- Experience using Vertex AI for model development, deployment, and monitoring
- Awareness of responsible AI practices, including model governance, bias mitigation, and explainability
- Strong written communication, documentation, leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence abilities
