What you’ll do

  • Work with the SeatGeek design team and product managers to bring ideas to life to delight fans
  • Bring a passion for product to mentor and grow web engineers across the organization
  • Contribute to increasing the maturity of our front‑end tech strategy and stack

What you have

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, having led product initiatives end‑to‑end in recent years
  • TypeScript/JavaScript: exceptional grasp of the language, up‑to‑date with the latest spec, and familiar with at least one modern framework and client‑side rendering technique. Experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is a plus but not required.
  • UI & product instincts: a keen eye for how a web page should look and feel, and a commitment to building inclusive and accessible experiences.
  • Architecture and performance optimization: depth of the stack to untangle caching inefficiencies and troubleshoot across distributed systems. Ability to use monitors and testing to observe performance changes and design for maintainability.
  • Adaptability: comfort working full‑stack in Python when required, and familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch. Willingness to learn and dive in when needed.

Salary range: $144,000 - $209,000 USD. This role is equity eligible and may include a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Compensation is based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, location, and more.
