Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

Build incentive mechanics, referral flows, and personalization that drive member-to-member referral growth
Deliver large projects introducing new product capabilities and maintain key code repositories
Modernize existing pipelines to scale products with company growth
Break down complex problems into manageable tasks and deliver predictably
Identify and resolve root causes of production incidents
Collaborate on technical roadmaps and execute ambitious technical strategies
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and real-time pairing
Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features
Improve feature maintainability, availability, and performance
Contribute to architecture and developer tooling
Communicate technical ideas to technical and non-technical partners
Document technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience
• Experience delivering large software projects or features in a production environment
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Strong backend API and service ownership, with ability to work confidently in React / React Native frontend surfaces
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, make sound technical tradeoffs, and execute with minimal direction
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude or Claude Code and agentic AI workflows
• Preferred: growth-team, incentives, rewards, social mechanics, personalization, A/B testing, ML model serving, experimentation platforms, ML feature stores, or health/regulatory-data experience
• Willingness to work from the San Francisco office three days per week for a full 8-hour business day
• Located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
