Role description
As a Senior Software Developer , you’ll design and build modern, cloud-native applications, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the future of the platform. This role is ideal for someone who wants to influence architecture decisions, solve complex challenges, and grow with a mission-driven company. Our client is building technology that transforms the self-funded medical benefits space, making it easier for carriers, brokers, and administrators to quote, underwrite, and manage policies.
Responsibilities
- Build microservices & APIs in C#/.NET and Azure
- Design scalable, secure, high-performance applications
- Collaborate with teams to deliver new features
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve bugs
- Lead code reviews and mentor developers
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
- Work with Azure services (AKS, Functions, SQL, App Services)
- Contribute to team standards and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET
- Strong background in Azure cloud and microservices
- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
