Summary
This role involves enhancing and maintaining the build and deployment infrastructure for a cloud development organization, focusing on scalability and reliability within high-security federal environments. You will be instrumental in improving developer workflows and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the build systems to meet stringent compliance requirements. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, while also driving long-term improvements to accelerate development and anticipate future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage secure build and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate security and compliance mandates into system architecture.
- Monitor and optimize build system performance and developer workflows.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers for system availability.
- Proactively identify and resolve build system issues.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years in development, build, or release engineering.
- Experience with scalable continuous integration infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell or Groovy.
Domain / Industry Experience
This role requires experience within regulated cloud environments, particularly those meeting FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 5 requirements, for U.S. federal and defense customers.
