Overview
A leading hedge fund is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact credit technology team in New York. You\'ll be embedded within the credit business, building the systems that power day-to-day trading, analytics, and portfolio management operations.
What You\'ll Build
- Production systems supporting credit instrument coverage across structured credit, CLOs, CMBS, convertibles, and corporate bonds
- Integration pipelines with industry-standard credit analytics platforms including Intex, Yieldbook, and Monis
- Data infrastructure and analytics tooling used daily by traders, portfolio managers, and analysts
- Risk and scenario analysis capabilities, stress testing, and exposure monitoring across the credit portfolio
- Automated workflows replacing manual processes across the credit business
What We\'re Looking For
- Strong Python or Java engineering
- Genuine familiarity with credit products. An Understanding of the instruments you\'re building for
- Background in a credit or fixed income environment: buy-side, sell-side, or vendor
- Someone who enjoys working closely with the business and translating requirements into reliable software
