Senior Software Engineer

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for their Concord, CA/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices applications
• Drive technical solutions from architecture through deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
• Champion best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and cloud-native development
• Lead engineering initiatives and mentor team members as needed

Requirements

• 10-12 years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices
• Hands-on experience with Java 8+, J2EE, JUnit, SOAP & REST Web Services
• Experience with Kubernetes; React.js exposure is a plus
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, and/or Harness
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Passion for continuous learning and modern engineering practices
• Proven ability to lead design, development, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications
