Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building platform notification services that enable clients to receive alerts for critical events, enhancing the operational efficiency of engines and machines. You will contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performing software systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop services using Scala and Akka technologies.Work independently on complex systems and infrastructure components.Identify and resolve complex technical issues.Drive development of business-critical features.Mentor and guide junior engineers.Maintain high software quality standards and best practices.Identify opportunities for team and system improvements.Develop structured application code, documentation, and user guides.Collaborate with end users and internal stakeholders for development, debugging, and testing.Perform integration and customer acceptance testing.Support additional responsibilities as assigned by client management.QualificationsBachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, OR Master's degree with 8 years of experience.5 years of software development experience using Java (8).2 years of Scala programming experience.2 years of experience with Akka technologies (Streams, Actors, HTTP, Persistence).Experience designing Spring Boot RESTful APIs.Experience building high-availability, scalable systems.Strong understanding of architectural patterns (MVC, Microservices, Event-driven).Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).Experience with AWS services (API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation).Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).Agile/Scrum experience.Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.Demonstrated leadership in small to mid-scale projects.Passion for technology and team collaboration.Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S.
is: $90.00 - $91.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
