There is never a dull moment with us.The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing. Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes. BBP flagship products include the 29xx and 39xx series which leverage Broadband Plasma technology to capture a wide range of defects with ultimate sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds needed for inline defect monitoring.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the development of the next generation wafer inspection tools! Following the KLA Product Lifecycle methods, the candidate will be required to be involved in all phases of the software design/architecture, design reviews and requirements definition for systems and subsystems, and development/maintain of software features. Software requirements documents, analyzing software performance and development of critical software features are key responsibilities for this position.Additional Responsibilities:Conduct software development activities using C++/C#, Managed C++,.NET in Windows 64-bit environmentParticipate in all stages of software development including deployment/trouble shooting at customer sites (for current products)Take ownership of assigned design and development tasks for current and future generations of productsWork in a global environment to interact with multi-site team members during software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration and testingQualifications:Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.3+ years hands-on experience of software design and development using BOTH of the high-level programming languages in C++ and C# on Windows desktop applications.Knowledge in STL, WinDBG and Windows Internals.Excellent architecture and design experience using modular / OOP / OOD methodologyGUI design and implementation for desktop applicationsDocumentation of software design artifacts and algorithm specificationsCollaboration with SQC team on test case development and test executionAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate with othersExperience in semiconductor process is desiredMinimum Qualifications:Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years ORBachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years3+ years hands-on experience of software design and development using BOTH of the high-level programming languages in C++ and C# on Windows desktop applications.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
