We're looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a collaborative team of talented engineers focused on building innovative, enterprise-scale software solutions. What You'll Do
- Design, architect, and develop scalable, enterprise-grade Java applications from concept through deployment.
- Lead technical design and implementation efforts across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Mentor engineers by promoting coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Drive project delivery while working with globally distributed development teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve application quality, reliability, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional software development experience with Java 8+ , including hands-on experience with Java 9 features .
- Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, collections, and Java concurrent APIs.
- Experience writing high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive automated unit testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito .
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Framework and MVC-based application development.
- Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services and APIs.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases and messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Maven , Gradle , or Ant .
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern front-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing and building microservices .
- Experience with automated integration testing and performance tuning of high-volume applications.
- Knowledge of API management platforms and tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI .
- Experience with authentication and security frameworks such as Ping Identity or Okta .
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms, including AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Willingness to travel as needed.
