Leading the modernization of enterprise data platforms, the contract Senior Software Engineer - AWS Migration will work remotely to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions while migrating Cloudera Hadoop environments to AWS. Key responsibilities Design and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions for enterprise applications Lead the migration of on-premises Cloudera Hadoop environments to AWS, creating migration strategies and cloud-native architectures Mentor engineering teams on software engineering and AWS best practices while ensuring security, governance, and compliance throughout the migration process Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise applications and Big Data platforms Strong experience with the Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Hive, and Spark Hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS Big Data solutions, including Amazon EMR and AWS Glue Proven experience migrating Hadoop workloads from on-premises environments to AWS
