We’re working with a fast-growing AI startup that is building the infrastructure used by 200+ consumer brands to manage complex financial and operational workflows.
They’ve grown 5x year-on-year, recently raised a $15m Series A and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their core platform team in NYC.
You’ll be building the systems behind large-scale financial data processing, analytics, forecasting and AI-powered automation.
The work includes:
- Building and scaling core platform infrastructure
- Developing backend services and APIs
- Processing financial and operational data from multiple sources
- Developing AI-powered document ingestion and data extraction
- Improving the performance and reliability of core services
- Turning complex financial workflows into straightforward product experiences
They’re looking for someone with:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend engineering and systems design skills
- Experience building production systems that handle large datasets or complex workflows
- Strong product instincts and the ability to work across engineering and product
- An interest in early-stage startups and taking real ownership
Experience with AI/ML systems, data pipelines, analytics infrastructure or customer-facing work would be useful.
Their stack includes Python, Rails, TypeScript, React, Vue, Postgres, Snowflake, AWS and foundation models via the Claude SDK.
You don’t need experience across the entire stack. They’re more interested in strong engineers who can solve difficult problems, learn quickly and build reliable products without needing everything mapped out for them.
This is an onsite role in New York City, with relocation support available.
