You will play a critical role in modernizing distributed platforms and supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems.In this role, you will work closely with developers and engineers to build, support, and deliver a highly critical distributed platform.

Responsibilities include:Facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic technology visionProvide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring, including adoption of AI-driven and cloud best practicesCollaborate with business, technology, and operations partnersIdentify technical risks and gaps early, and establish mitigation plansContinuously improve development processes, application quality, and time-to-marketYou have a strong technical foundation and the ability to engage with engineering leads and architects on complex technical decisions. You understand how product, business, technology, infrastructure, and production support requirements intersect to deliver reliable systems.Basic Qualifications6+ years of software development experience on large-scale enterprise platforms4–6+ years of experience in financial services (preferably brokerage), with knowledge of margin, options expiration, futures, violations, and pledged asset loans5+ years of experience delivering large, complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile), including change and release managementBachelor's degree in technology or a related disciplineProfessional ExperienceProven track record of delivering solutions consistently while managing the complexity of large implementationsStrong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business partners, engineering teams, production support, and infrastructure teamsExcellent problem-solving skills, including stakeholder identification, needs assessment, and expectation managementAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and geographically distributed teamsSelf-starter with strong prioritization and multitasking capabilitiesComfort working in ambiguous situations and rapidly evolving technology environmentTechnical Qualifications6+ years of hands-on experience building distributed systems and cloud-based platformsFull-stack development experience with Microsoft.NET Framework, C#, and .NET in Windows data center environmentsFront-end experience with Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, PrimeNG, and .NET CoreExperience integrating SOAP and REST-based servicesExtensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)Strong database knowledge, including Aerospike NoSQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQLExperience integrating applications with BPM platforms such as AppianExpertise with messaging systems including IBM MQ and KafkaHands-on experience with agentic AI tools and frameworks, and working within an AI-led development lifecycle (AI-DLC)Strong background in Agile development methodologiesExperience owning and operating multiple instances of mission-critical servicesAbility to use telemetry, metrics, and monitoring to drive operational excellenceRecognized technical expert with experience mentoring others and solving complex engineering problemsDeep understanding of modern software engineering and architecture, including languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends
