The Ad Exchange team is also responsible for multiple business critical services and tools and support both Search and Display ads.
YOU WILL:Lead cross-functional engineering teams, collaborate with multiple technical and business teams across Apple, to deliver high-quality, timely solutions for Ad Exchange orchestrationDesign and implement performant services created with the right principles to support rapid growth with minimal operational overheadsWork with Advertising domain experts to engineer systems that can handle a variety of Ads use casesMinimum Qualifications4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building distributed systems with public cloud technologiesStrong understanding of Microservice DesignExpertise in building backend distributed systemsExperience with creating solutions using public cloud technologies and APIsAbility to work with and lead cross functional teamsProficiency in Java is requiredBachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalentPreferred QualificationsPrior Ads experiencePassion for problem solving, driving innovation and exploring emerging technologiesAbility to weigh in on architectural decisions and align engineering execution with product and business needsEnthusiasm for guiding and mentoring engineers while advocating a culture of learning and growthTalent for successfully partnering with leadership and peers on technical (and non-technical) teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
