Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Full Stack Python Engineer with strong experience building end-to-end distributed software systems from the ground up.

This is not a scripting, DevOps, or task execution role.

We are looking for a software engineer who can design and build complete application systems — spanning backend services, APIs, distributed processing workflows, and supporting frontend integration layers — with strong emphasis on Python-based backend engineering.

The ideal candidate naturally thinks in terms of:

  • system design and architecture
  • distributed application behavior
  • service decomposition and APIs
  • data and workflow flow across systems
  • scalability and resiliency patterns
  • production reliability and observability

This role requires engineers who can translate business requirements directly into working, production-grade software systems , not isolated scripts or automation tools.

The environment is Azure-hosted, container-first, and supports operationally critical enterprise workloads including large-scale processing and distributed workflows.

What You’ll Own

Full Stack System Development (Core Responsibility)

  • Design and build full-stack applications with Python-based backend services and supporting UI/integration layers
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that support web and internal applications
  • Build modular, maintainable, and production-ready software systems
  • Translate business workflows into complete software solutions across backend + integration layers
  • Design and implement scalable Python backend services and distributed processing systems
  • Build microservices-based architectures supporting enterprise workflows
  • Develop event-driven and asynchronous processing systems using queues, workers, and orchestration layers
  • Ensure systems are designed for:
  • resiliency
  • scalability
  • fault isolation
  • operational stability
  • maintainability
  • Build systems capable of processing large files and long-running workloads reliably
  • Implement:
  • streaming / chunk-based processing
  • retry and recovery logic
  • checkpointing and resumable workflows
  • failure isolation and automatic recovery
  • Engineer systems that remain stable under:
  • network instability
  • container restarts
  • distributed workload interruptions
  • Design and deploy containerized Python applications using Docker
  • Build and deploy applications on:
  • horizontal scaling
  • fault-tolerant runtime behavior
  • observability and monitoring integration

Workflow Automation & Distributed Processing

  • Build distributed workflows using Apache Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools
  • Design queue-based and worker-based processing systems
  • Ensure workflows are:
  • observable
  • scalable
  • production-safe

CI/CD, Observability & Operational Engineering

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for full-stack applications and services
  • Implement production-grade logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Ensure systems are fully observable and diagnosable in production environments

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experienceHello Wallstar?
