Medtronic seeks a Senior Software Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable public cloud platform services for enterprise-wide software delivery. The role combines software engineering with infrastructure automation and operational excellence to support compliant cloud foundations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud platform services and infrastructure-as-code for enterprise environments
- Build CI/CD pipelines, reusable software components, and code libraries for secure deployments
- Implement security guardrails including identity management, encryption, logging, and compliance controls
- Develop operational tooling, monitoring, and runbooks supporting global reliability
- Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to modernize platforms and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years experience with bachelor's or 2+ years with advanced degree
- Software engineering background with JSON, Python, and API development
- Hands-on AWS public cloud platform experience
- CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and Kubernetes experience
- Cloud security, compliance, and enterprise governance knowledge
