Senior Software Architect - Boulder, CO (Hybrid, Direct Hire)
Our client is a fully funded SaaS startup building an enterprise task-governance platform from the ground up - and they need a true senior architect to help build it.
This isn't a growth role. They want someone who has already operated as a senior/staff-level architect, not someone stepping into the title for the first time.
What makes this different:
the engineering team is staying small on purpose. AI-driven accelerators and an internal Design System IDE pipeline are automating a growing share of implementation, so architects here spend more time writing and owning code - not managing a large team.
What you'll do:
- Own the core architecture for a B2B SaaS platform built for scale
- Work directly with founders and leadership on foundational technology decisions
- Build with AI-accelerated tooling instead of a traditional-sized dev team
- Set the technical bar as one of the company's first architects
What you need:
- Proven track record as a senior/staff-level software architect, ideally in B2B SaaS
- A plus: experience building AI features into business applications, or WebAssembly
Compensation is market rate for Boulder. Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite.
