Senior Socio‑Cultural Analyst (Russian) – Contract

Clearance

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

In this role, you will:

• Perform as a language specialist at the native level providing accurate reading, writing, speaking skills, as well as provide cultural understanding regarding geopolitical, economic and social issues.
• Provide accurate translations of transcripts, video and audio sources, from the target language to English and vice versa while preserving the original meaning and intent of the original source.
• Devise and advise new methods of target language research and exploitation of information and determine the most effective methods for presenting and disseminating the information.

Required Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category or a Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category plus an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years as a substitute for the Master’s degree.
• Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Native‑level proficiency in the Russian language. “Native level” is defined as first/second generation speaking ability to understand current vernacular, colloquialisms, and terminology (Proficiency level 4 required in speaking, reading, and writing).
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 per year. Salary is influenced by factors such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
