Senior SIGINT Systems EngineerArcfield is seeking a senior SIGINT Systems Engineer to help us guide new SIGINT programs as they evolve to commercial trends like Agile development, Cloud migration, Automation techniques (AI/ML), and streamlined DevOps deployments to support our users in operations. You will be a technical member of a dynamic systems engineering team that informs the Government Program Management Office of the successes and challenges of the SIGINT systems as well as provide recommendations for modifications and future evolutions.This team is pioneering lightweight, model-driven systems engineering in order to meet aggressive delivery schedules. This is an opportunity for you to build your experience with using the latest open-source tools, trends, and techniques while supporting the mission of our Intelligence Community Customer.
We are looking for someone to provide subject matter expertise and agile best practices to our team. As a senior SIGINT Systems Engineer, your duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:Coordinate CONOPS development for SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systemsDevelop architecture productsWrite and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needsUnderstand system-to-system interfaces and act as an IntegratorEvaluate system designs and trade-space proposed and implemented by our developers while working in coordination with the acquisition officesAssess developer performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measuresMonitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies in either MS Project or Jira equivalent scheduling toolFacilitate the identification and tracking of risks, issues, and opportunitiesFacilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and incrementsReview Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts; author RFCs for the customerSupport Agile and DevSecOps automated test and verification (VV&T)Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission planning and scheduling capabilities, work directly with our developers and users in operationsParticipate in studies looking at the future generation of SIGINT capabilities spanning the next decadeFlexible to deal with changing priorities and handles ADHOC taskings from the government customersSupport government acquisition lifecycle (drafting SOWs, evaluating ECPs, etc)QualificationsRequired:Must possess and be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCI Clearance with PolygraphBS w/ 10 -12 years of experience, MS w/ 8 - 10 years of experience, or PhD w/ 5 -7 years of experience.Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in engineering, physics, or related technical fieldCommitment to recognize, understand, respect, and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical audiences and produce clear, logical, and concise productsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under only general direction and to independently provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsThe ability to travel as necessary to satisfy assigned tasksFlexibility to execute additional duties as assigned and learn new areasFamiliarity with Agile software development methodology and tools like Confluence and JiraStrongly Desired:10 or more years of experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering/architectingFamiliarity with overall SIGINT ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more SIGINT systems.Ability to work directly for IC customer and familiarity with that customer's processes and organization.Experience in writing acquisition documentation (to include RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, requirements, ECPs, etc ), participating in government run source selections, providing SETA acquisition support and technical support to a government customer throughout the lifecycle of an acquisitionExpertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessmentExperience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives.Advanced degrees or certifications in science, technology, engineering, or mathematicsFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital EngineeringExperience working with the Federal Government/DoD /ICEqual Pay ActThis is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
