Senior Shelter Counselor — Domestic Violence Hotline

City of Alexandria, VA is seeking a Senior Residential Counselor for the Domestic Violence Program. The SRC answers the 24-hour hotline, provides crisis intervention and counseling to residents of the Safehouse, and helps ensure safety and upkeep of the facility.

The role requires knowledge of domestic violence, trauma-informed advocacy, intake procedures, advocacy with courts and social services, and on-call availability including weekends and holidays.
