Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the design, configuration, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions in support of the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Enterprise Technical Services (FETS) contract. The developer will work closely with the ITSM, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and quality service management teams to implement scalable, secure, and effective ServiceNow modules aligned to FCC business and operational goals.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop advanced ServiceNow modules and workflows, including ITSM, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Discovery, Service Mapping, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service ManagementCollaborate with business analysts, process owners, and technical leads to gather and implement requirementsTranslate business needs into technical requirements and develop scalable solutions using ServiceNow best practicesBuild and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIsSupport configuration management databases (CMDB), scripting, catalog items, and mid-server functionalityKnowledge and experience in implementing service catalogs, self-service portals, and CMDB accuracy.Create and manage service improvement stories within the Continual Service Improvement (CSI) registrySupport the development of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track performance, ROI, and business valueContribute to the ServiceNow governance process and ensure compliance with change control and security policiesAssist with platform upgrades, patching, testing, and migration to productionGuide junior developers and support knowledge transfer within the teamOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; ORAssociate and 6+ years of relevant experience; ORHigh School and 8+ years of relevant experienceServiceNow development experience, including custom application development and advanced module configurationActive ServiceNow Certified Systems AdministratorMust be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Certified Application Developer and/or Implementation Specialist (preferred)Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions.Skill in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work on-site full-timeAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individualsFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
