Security Software Engineer | AI Infrastructure Startup

A rapidly growing, venture-backed AI infrastructure company is seeking a highly technical Security Software Engineer to build and own security from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a founding-level engineering team working at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. What You'll Do

• Design and implement security infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments
• Build automated systems for threat detection, incident response, and security operations
• Secure AI-specific data pipelines, model interaction layers, and training workflows
• Integrate security controls directly into engineering workflows without slowing development velocity
• Contribute to core infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives beyond security
• Establish and execute the company's security roadmap while helping define long-term security strategy

What We're Looking For

• 4–7 years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related fields
• Strong software engineering skills with Python, Go, and/or TypeScript
• Experience securing cloud-native environments in AWS and/or GCP
• A builder's mindset—someone who develops security systems and automation rather than relying solely on commercial tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy
