Job Title: Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer (Critical Infrastructure)

This confidential opportunity sits within a highly visible cyber security function responsible for protecting operational technology (OT) environments that underpin large-scale power generation and delivery. The role supports a business where cyber resilience, safety, and regulatory compliance are mission-critical.
What will you be doing?
- Owning cyber security risk management across OT and ICS environments within power generation and energy infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with NERC CIP standards and supporting regulatory audits and evidence production
- Partnering closely with OT engineering, IT security, and operations teams to embed security-by-design
- Conducting OT cyber risk assessments, threat modelling, and control gap analysis
- Supporting incident response, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement initiatives within OT environments
- Acting as a trusted subject-matter expert to senior stakeholders on OT cyber security and regulatory matters
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Strong experience in OT / ICS cyber security within energy, utilities, oil & gas, or other critical infrastructure
- Solid working knowledge of NERC CIP standards and regulatory expectations
- Background in securing SCADA, DCS, PLCs , or industrial control systems
- CISSP (or working towards) strongly preferred
- Comfortable working across both technical and governance-focused security responsibilities
- Confident engaging with engineers, regulators, and senior leadership
