About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist with a specialization in Analytical Chemistry to join their dynamic research and development team in Welkom . You will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing sophisticated analytical methods using a variety of techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for the characterization of chemical compounds and drug substances.
- Utilize a wide range of analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, and spectroscopy.
- Perform method development and troubleshooting for complex analytical challenges.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, generating comprehensive reports and documenting results accurately.
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, process chemists, and quality control teams to provide analytical support.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in analytical chemistry and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical method development and validation within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with various chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
