Responsibilities
- Provide cutting‑edge technical and/or functional contributions to application development teams.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and enhance existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, and prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Apply appropriate development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools and technology.
- Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum master and Technology manager.
- Participate in ticket management and resolution processes, including receiving, resolution monitoring and customer satisfaction.
- Lead large projects as needed.
- Provide direction, training and guidance to rest of team members.
- Build strong working understanding & document the solution being delivered.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Work in Hitachi GMS SCADA system & provide guidance to rest of team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Hitachi GMS SCADA Experience with large systems & different connection setups with field devices.
- Minimum 8 years of Java programming experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Python programming experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Unix/Linux working experience.
- 3+ years of working experience with agile technologies & Jira tool.
- PERL programming experience is a plus.
