Senior Sap Instructional Designer/Developer & TrainerThe Senior SAP Instructional Designer/Developer & Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering role-based, blended learning programs to support SAP implementations and upgrades (including S/4HANA). This role combines deep instructional design expertise with hands-on training delivery to drive end-user adoption and readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop custom SAP education programs that apply Adult Learning Principles and best-practice delivery techniques.Plan, write, and edit instructor-led training content, eLearning storyboards (WBT/CBT), simulations, and job aids.Conduct training needs assessments and readiness analyses; define course objectives and training plans based on findings.Collaborate with SMEs and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into role-based training.Coordinate and deliver train-the-trainer and end-user training sessions (virtual and classroom); provide go-live and post-go-live support.Develop and implement evaluation measures (knowledge checks, assessments, course evaluations) and refine content based on feedback.Coordinate loading and management of courses in LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning) and track training status, issues, and risks.Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, high-quality deliverables, and proactive issue resolution.Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience with major ERP systems.Minimum of 2 years working with various SAP modules; S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience developing engaging, effective training curricula and blended learning solutions.Strong knowledge of Instructional Design Theory and Adult Learning Principles.Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with a professional attitude; able to work independently and collaboratively.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.Ability to travel nationally as needed.Preferred QualificationsDirect S/4HANA implementation or upgrade project experience.Professional Services / Big 4 consulting background.Classroom training and virtual facilitation experience.Experience with content creation tools (e.g., SAP Enable Now, WalkMe) and Learning Management Systems.
