Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

• Run S/4 readiness checks and remediate custom code
• Build CDS views to replace existing custom ABAP and BODS extracts, and resolve data discrepancies
• Develop production capabilities across ECC and S/4 development objects
• Debug, use performance traces, and perform root cause analysis
• Perform unit and integration testing of application functionality
• Manage a body of work across multiple development objects, giving leadership accurate, timely updates and raising concerns early

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of ABAP development on ECC and/or S/4
• Experience on a brownfield ECC to S/4HANA upgrade as an ABAP developer
• ABAP development in ADT on Eclipse
• ABAP and Clean Core development (BADIs, RAP objects, released APIs, field extensibility)
• CDS Views: interface and consumption view model, change data capture, authorizations, and analytical annotations for Datasphere consumption
• Object-oriented ABAP: interfaces, BADIs, classes and methods, function groups and modules, RFC, BAPI, exception handling, unit testing
