To support a growing HEOR & RWE analytics function, the contract Senior RWD Programmer will write R and SQL programs to extract, clean, and analyze data from large real-world claims and EHR datasets while working closely with analytics leadership in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Write R and SQL programs to extract, clean, and analyze data from claims, EHR, and other real-world data sources Translate study specifications and ad hoc analytic requests into programming plans, addressing ambiguities proactively Build and maintain reproducible, well-documented code and outputs for team accessibility and understanding Required qualifications: Master's degree (or higher) in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, public health, or a related quantitative field 5+ years of hands-on programming experience with healthcare data Strong, demonstrable R and SQL skills; SAS proficiency is a plus Direct experience programming against administrative claims data and/or EHR data Working knowledge of common analytic methods used in RWE
