You'll sit at the center of perception, planning, and motion — owning systems end-to-end and helping define how these robots perform in the field.If you're a builder who wants to see your code move physical systems in the real world, this is worth a conversation.All inquiries are strictly confidential.What You'll OwnLead development of robotic and mobile manipulator software systems operating in production environmentsArchitect real-time systems across motion control, kinematics, and trajectory planningBuild autonomy stacks — perception, localization, mapping, sensor fusion, intelligent task executionDevelop and scale ROS 2 / MoveIt pipelines (C++ / Python)Own full-stack integration across mechanical, electrical, and controls systemsOptimize system performance — latency, synchronization, calibration, and reliabilityDesign simulation environments, HIL testing frameworks, and telemetry pipelinesSet the bar for engineering — code quality, CI/CD, testing, and system robustnessMentor engineers and lead design + code reviewsPartner with operations to deploy and support robotic systems in the fieldWhat You BringBachelor's or Master's in CS, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related4+ years building robotics, autonomy, or industrial automation systemsStrong in modern C++ (14/17/20) and PythonHands-on with ROS 2, MoveIt, and real-world robotic systems (manipulation or autonomy)Deep fundamentals: kinematics, control systems, motion planning, perceptionExperience in Linux environments with Git, CI/CD, and debugging toolsTrack record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineersU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required)Willingness to travel (~10%)Bonus PointsPh.D.
