Responsibilities
- We work with customer requirements and partner with engineers and software developers to design and deliver simulation solutions for government clients and other key stakeholders.
- We identify and assess critical design considerations such as sensor selection, antenna architecture, and power needs, and connect them to seeker physical design.
- We design and document the RF sensor concept of operations, including operating modes, timelines, frequencies, pulse repetition rates, scan patterns, and waveform choices.
- We implement signal processing algorithms for detection, tracking, clutter reduction, and electronic protection.
- We solve highly complex technical challenges with innovative approaches.
- We determine and execute the actions needed to achieve the desired outcomes.
- We lead a small cross-functional team in a technical project lead role.
Company
We support the U.S. Navy and the Missile Defense Agency through trade studies, design prototyping, and analysis across radars, EO/IR sensors, RF seeker systems, electronic warfare systems, and weapon systems. We are hiring a Senior RF Seeker Engineer based in Columbia, Maryland, with potential on-site support at customer locations. This is a full-time role with a Secret clearance requirement and a salary range of $150,000 to $170,000.
