Join us and start doing your life's best work.As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst, you will be an individual contributor in our Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance group.

You will research, document and report on regulatory changes in the health care system. It's an opportunity to make a huge impact.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare filings for submission through SERFF; complete all supporting documentation and certificates requiredDraft state specific regulatory documents (e.g. policies/Certificates of Coverage) for form filings in accordance with the laws and regulations of each jurisdictionMaintain proper documentation of files and correspondenceObtain and analyze state insurance regulations and statutes as necessary to respond to state insurance examiners inquiriesMonitor and track statuses of filingsCoordinate with business units and legal to obtain responses to examiner inquiriesFunction as the liaison for all regulatory inquiries related to filings submittedProvide relevant status updates to business and LCRA stakeholders and leadersUpon state approval of the forms, distribute forms for issuance and respond to questions from implementation teamsAdditional research, tracking, and other ad hoc tasks as identifiedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience working in health care, managed care and/or health insuranceExcellent computer skills with experience with MS Office, Word, Excel and Adobe AcrobatPreferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience4+ years of State Filings experienceFamiliarity with SERFFDemonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and ad hoc requestsDemonstrated ability to function independently in a fast-paced environmentProven achievement-oriented to meet regulatory deadlinesProven solid analytical skillsProven clear, concise, engaging, and effective written and oral communicationProven accurate and precise attention to detailCareers with UnitedHealthcare. As an industry leader, our commitment to improving lives is second to none.California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100.
