Sr. Quality EngineerThe Quality Engineer ensures product quality, reliability, and compliance across the full product lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise in electronics and mechanical systems, and the ability to drive quality initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will lead quality planning, risk management, validation activities, and continuous improvement to meet customer and industry standards.Lead product lifecycle quality planning from concept through production launchOwn Design for Quality activities, including DFMEA and design control deliverablesDrive risk management, control plans, and traceability from requirements to validationDefine acceptance criteria, test strategies, and Critical-to-Quality parametersPartner with Engineering, Product, and Operations on design, manufacturability, and reliabilitySupport APQP processes including PFMEA, control plans, and PPAPEnsure production readiness through validation of test systems and inspection methodsMonitor launch and field quality metrics such as DPPM, yield, and warranty dataLead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and statistical methodsDrive corrective actions, containment, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport change control, audits, and compliance with ISO 9001 standardsCollaborate with suppliers, service teams, and customers on quality issuesCommunicate risks and performance trends to leadershipBachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Systems, or related field5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in hardware or electromechanical productsStrong knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, control plans, and problem solving methodsExperience with data analysis tools such as Minitab or Power BIFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and audit processesSix Sigma or CQE certification preferredExperience with PCBA or electronics manufacturingKnowledge of reliability methods and systems like PLM, ERP, or MESStrong cross-functional collaboration and communication skillsHigh ownership and continuous improvement mindsetThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
