Senior Quality EngineerOur Senior Quality Engineer will drive product quality, process capability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure products meet stringent requirements while improving efficiency, reducing defects, and strengthening quality systems.What You'll Do...Quality Assurance & ComplianceConduct inspections for final product and incoming materials; maintain required customer and regulatory documentationPerform internal and supplier audits aligned with ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, and AS9100Manage nonconforming material and determine appropriate disposition (rework, deviation, scrap)Prepare customer approval packages including PPAP, MRB, and first article documentationContinuous Improvement & Data AnalysisSupport Six Sigma initiatives and corrective actions with structured problem-solving (8D preferred)Execute statistical analysis including MSA, capability studies, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and control plansReduce scrap and rework by identifying root causes and improving process capabilityOptimize manufacturing processes through equipment specification, method improvements, and new process introductionSupplier Quality & CollaborationAudit and develop suppliers to ensure product and facility complianceMaintain supplier performance metrics in partnership with PurchasingDefine incoming inspection requirements and ensure corrective actions for purchased materialsEngineering & Technical LeadershipInterpret engineering requirements including drawings, PO specs, and engineering changesServe as technical liaison between Production Planning, Engineering, and customersLead targeted improvement projects to enhance product quality and process performancePerform industrial engineering tasks such as method studies, time standards, and equipment/tooling specificationsTeam & Workplace StandardsTrain junior technical staff on quality tools and processesModel safety and conduct standards and maintain a clean, organized work environmentSupport additional duties as neededWho You Are...Associate or Bachelor's degree4–10 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process engineeringWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, AS910Strong communication, organization, and analytical skillsProficiency in MS Office, statistical tools, and technical modelingThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
