A. O. Smith is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality within our manufacturing operations for water heating and treatment products. In this performance-driven, safety-focused environment, you will lead quality planning, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality systems, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions, applying statistical methods (SPC, capability, DOE), and supporting APQP/PPAP for new and existing products. You will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, manage nonconformances and supplier issues, and present quality metrics to leadership.
