QA Testing Analyst - SeniorThis position is for a QA Testing Analyst - Senior who would create, maintain, and execute scripts for applications, reporting directly to the QA Manager. Proficient in test automation tools, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing and understanding of project life cycle. Perform all aspects of verification, including integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
Develop and implement well-defined test plans. Manage defect tracking and provide informative updates as requested. Participate in project group meetings.
Facilitate defect management meetings. Identify as many defects as possible to deliver a quality product to our client.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for the planning, integration, test casing, scripting and execution of all testing to ensure proper coverage.Schedules and leads test deliverables review sessions as necessary.Work on multiple projects/systems as a project team member and are considered to be a subject matter expert for a single project/system. These projects are of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environmentsCollaborate with the BSA and Development teams in the analysis and review of business objectives and requirements to ensure requirements are testableActively participate in the review of architectural and technical design specificationsDevelop, document and maintain the test data, data validation, end to end testing flows.Conducts testing using HNB manual and/or automated test processes and reports resultsMay run database queries in order to supply data validation within test scriptsUpdates test cases based upon approved change requestsWorks with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triageAssigns defect severity, and manages defects throughout the projectWorks with colleagues and project managers to meet established target dates and completion of activities/deliverables under changing conditionsCreates test status reports per project guidelinesCreates test results and test summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readinessCreates and facilitates review of the Test Strategy with the project teamIdentifies any potential quality issues per defined processes and escalates potential quality issues immediately to managementCollects testing sign-off from all testing participants, including cross-impacted application teamsEnsures all aspects of testing, such as manual execution, regression, automation and performance testing, is completedCollaborates with Project Test Lead on estimating the test effortsCollaborates with the project team to support UAT efforts as neededMaintains the regression test bed to meet changing requirementsParticipates in off-hour production releases as neededSupports the project’s warranty period as neededWorks under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement and problem solvingProvides mentorship to junior team members as neededUnderstands and follows the project lifecycle methodology consistentlyJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships or work experience3 – 5 years of QA or UAT testing experienceStrong technical knowledge with a good understanding of software development principles (e.g., object oriented programming), QA Framework/Basic Test Methodology and project lifecycles (e.g., SDLC)Strong aptitude in both business and technologyExcellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain system issues clearly and concisely and establish effective working relationshipsHigh motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentWillingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutionsProficient in Quality Management Software and related processesRequired Skills: Looking for a manual QA that can work onsite 5 days a week.
They are working with ADO but are fine with HP ALM or Jira. Must have experience with regression testing, test cases, integration testing, and functional testing. They will be physically testing the ATMs onsite at Huntington.
