QA Engineer Contract PositionMostly remote, but must reside near the St. Paul, MN area for occasional onsite meetings or workshopsResponsibilities:Operate independently as a senior QA for the team and support the delivery through functional & automation testing.Quickly assess existing systems and integrations to establish clarity, identify improvement opportunities, and drive stabilization effortsIdentify and plan work effort by using test estimation techniques.Create and execute test plans/scripts/scenarios.Collaborate with team members on building test cases/scripts.Log and track issues/defects through to resolution.Support UAT and Go Live activities.Leverage Test Data Management for identifying and consuming dataStrong understanding of QA&E processesAbility to be innovative in testing approach during challenging timelinesFacilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics and provide go/no go recommendation.Requirements:Good to have loan originations & loan servicing systems.Strong experience in Playwright and understanding of automation frameworksAbility to drive the automation first mindset.Experience operating across SaaS, COTS, and custom-built platforms with an understanding of differing support and delivery modelsExperience of testing programs with multiple integrated systemsStrong experience in backend testing (API/DB)Ability to create and execute complex SQL queriesAbility to use AI for testing purposesGood knowledge of SnowflakeExperience with Azure DevOps or other Test Suite tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to handle delivery with minimum guidance.
