Software Quality Assurance TesterAnalyze business, functional, and technical requirements to identify testing needs.Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans from scratch.Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, usability, and end-to-end testing.Perform manual testing for both web-based applications and mobile applications (iOS and Android).Validate new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and production releases.Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Scrum teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing before production deployments.Review acceptance criteria and ensure complete test coverage across all business requirements.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.Create and maintain QA documentation including test plans, test execution reports, and traceability matrices.Recommend process improvements to increase product quality and testing efficiency.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the team.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong emphasis on manual testing.Proven experience writing detailed test cases and test plans from scratch.Strong experience testing both web applications and mobile applications (iOS and Android).Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management and issue tracking tools.Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar QA management platforms.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
