Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through manual and automated testing across front-end and back-end systems in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Ensure the quality and reliability of products by defining test approaches and leveraging AI tools to improve testing coverage and efficiency Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright to reduce manual testing efforts Act as a quality advocate by reviewing test code, sharing best practices, and identifying design concerns early in the development process Required qualifications 8+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years focused on test automation Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in writing clean and maintainable test code Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright, including design patterns like the Page Object Model Solid API testing experience and strong SQL skills for validating application behavior against relational databases Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and version control, with experience running automation within pipelines
