Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you’ll help ensure high-quality software through strong automation, reliable test frameworks, and clear collaboration across Agile teams. Our client is seeking a hands-on automation leader who can design and maintain robust test solutions, validate APIs and databases, and drive issue root‑cause analysis across test and production environments.

Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Grand Rapids, MI US (Onsite)

Note: Any Visa is fine as long as ready to work on W2. Must have 7+ Years of experience.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
• Review application code to improve testability and support long‑term maintainability of automated testing.
• Analyze, debug, and identify root causes of issues across test and production environments.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable quality in an Agile workflow.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

What's Needed?

• 5–6 years of experience as an Agile Automation Functional Tester with strong hands‑on automation.
• Proficiency with Robot Framework and Python, including building and maintaining automation suites.
• Extensive experience in API testing and validation, including working with Microsoft Azure services and Cosmos DB.
• Proven expertise in database testing using SQL Server.
• Strong test management experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), plus familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
