Pay rate: $75 $85/hr on C2C
Location: 100% Remote (US Nationwide)
Duration: 12 Months
Engagement: Corp-to-Corp (C2C)
Work authorization: USC, GC, H1B, GC-EAD
Client: Global media and streaming company (name confidential until shortlisting - standard US staffing practice)
What you will do:
- Build scalable backend endpoints for content streaming ingestion, asset metadata, and licensing APIs.
- Optimize asynchronous workers to handle video transcoding notifications and batch data processing.
- Maintain clean test suites using PyTest and enforce PEP-8 standards with automated linters.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of software development in Python (Python 3.10+) utilizing FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous I/O (AsyncIO), Celery task runners, and Redis caching.
- Strong background integrating media encoding pipelines, CDN origin APIs, and video metadata catalogs.
- Practical knowledge of AWS (ECS, SQS, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL).
