Senior Pursuits Coordinator

Job Summary

The TruePoint Solutions team is looking for a Senior Pursuit Coordinator who will work directly with our Director, Sales Strategy on RFI/RFPs. This is a highly visible role within the organization, working with a broad spectrum of company staff.

This position is home-based from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Execute established sole source strategy in coordination with the sales team.
  • Enhance operating tasks within overall pursuit sprints as it relates to sole source and public procurements.
  • Identify sales opportunities by leveraging procurement tools and websites to be alerted of new RFI/RFPs.
  • Perform initial triage of RFPs and organize the team with a synopsis of the opportunity.
  • Manage the RFP Response process which includes the following:
    • Conduct kickoff calls.
    • Develop a project schedule.
    • Assignments.
    • Work with team members to complete all areas of the response.
    • Perform final review and submission of RFP.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand the competition and proactively strategize win themes.
  • Craft new content as necessary.
  • Create and maintain an RFP repository of generic templates.
  • Track performance of RFP submissions (wins, losses, down selections).
  • Manage creation and accessibility of reusable content.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in scheduling and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain RFP templates.

Required Skills

  • Public Sector experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to track submission requirements with accuracy and precision.
  • Have an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Assertive nature.
  • Ability to own mistakes and self-correct. Willingness to conduct formal and informal post-mortems as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills including knowing when to over-communicate as needed.
  • Customer-focused, solution-oriented, initiative-driven.
  • Ability to lead tasks to completion and recap/escalate when necessary.
  • 5+ years managing similar tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, strong presentation experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Expert level experience in Microsoft Word.
  • US citizen.
